NEW CONSTRUCTION loosely merges a traditional house frame and its right-angled construction, with a mountain range ‘frame’ and its more dynamic structure. There is only one 90-degree corner, at the front tip of the piece. All other joints are custom angled and sanded to fit. New Construction serves as both a model for a large future work, and a sculpture in its own right.
